M-G-M's Lassie #31
In "Danger Ahead," Lassie, Rocky, and Timbu accompany rubber gatherer Luis Gomes on a photo expedition, but their journey takes a turn when Luis injures his leg. The next day, his son Diego ventures into the jungle alone to collect rubber, prompting Lassie and Timbu to follow—guided by Lassie’s keen sense of smell and the trail of clues left behind. With art by Bob Forgione and a striking cover by Mo Gollub, this 1956 Dell comic captures a quiet moment of adventure and loyalty in the Brazilian jungle.
