He recounts how his mother, Atlanna, an outcast from Atlantis, found refuge with Tom Curry, a lonely lighthouse keeper, and how their son, Arthur, was born with powers that would one day make him a guardian of the sea. As the Navy prepares to test at a site Aquaman knows all too well, he warns them of the danger—without revealing the full truth of what lies beneath.
