A beautifully painted cover by Christopher Moeller sets the tone for "Naglfar, Part 2 of 5: The Voyage Out" — a great, ornately carved ship sails through an eerie, fog-filled sky, its ragged sail billowing while a small crew of figures, including one with wings and a small winged creature perched at the prow, stand aboard, with a luminous ghostly figure hovering alongside. Looming behind it all, a pair of watchful eyes dissolves into the pale atmosphere, hinting at vast, unseen forces observing the journey. Mike Carey and his artistic team of Peter Gross, Dean Ormston, and Ryan Kelly bring this mythologically charged Vertigo series to one of its most visually atmospheric moments.
