Ray Anthony relates an anecdote: Marcy’s partner David returned from military service with a psychosomatic hand injury that prevents him from resuming their career as a piano duo. Marcy tells bandleader Ray Anthony, who invites them to rehearsal for his television show. David has to rescue Marcy when a spotlight falls, and realizes his hand is now functional. Ray reveals that the “accident” was rigged. Marcy and David can now play duets again and can be married.
