Alice and her fiancé Eddie live in a small town in Iowa. Eddie is offered a job in New York, but Alice doesn’t want to leave her home, so Eddie decides to turn it down. Alice wins a trip to Hollywood, Hawaii, and Mexico and now thinks Iowa is dull. She breaks up with Eddie via letter. Alice gets engaged to handsome Fernando, but he turns out to be a fortune-hunter. Alice returns to the USA and meets Eddie in New York. Their horizons now broadened, they reconcile and will marry.
