Furious, Trina throws a flower pot at Roger, who had been two-timing her, but it missed and hit Chad's car. Chad confronts her as she leaves Roger's flat, but she rants that she hates all men. Her agent softens the pain somewhat by getting her an offer to write the script for a new documentary. She soon discovers Chad is the TV producer she will be working with. Chad challenges the confirmed 'man-hater' to go on a date with him to prove an evening with a man can be enjoyable. She falls for him, but Roger's return ruins everything.
