Lara's father was never the same after her brother was reported killed in a car accident. Lara's father died soon after that, leaving her a small fortune. A year later, Lara is engaged to be married when a young woman arrives at the farm, with a marriage certificate showing she had been married to Lara's brother. Lara is suspicious, but doesn't realize that Sheila's plans include taking the farm and stealing Lara's fiance.
