Kathy finds a green brooch in the ladies powder room of the advertising firm where she works. Since Kathy's flat-mate was always leaving her junk jewelry laying about, Kathy assumes it belongs to Sarah. When Sarah says it doesn't belong to her, Kathy decides there would be no harm in wearing it on her date that evening before returning it in the morning. But when she gets to work the next morning, she discovers the brooch belongs to her boss's wife and is worth five thousand pounds. Worse, Kathy can't find it.
