While standing at the train station at Garstable, Lisa's life is changed when a man is struck by the open door of the moving train. He initially claims he is all right, but as they near her destination he reveals that he doesn't know who he is. From a sketch he draws of her, it is obvious he is a talented artist and Lisa falls in love with him. However, when they track down a cloakroom ticket he had in his possession, they find a gun and a hundred pounds labeled Southland Bank, London. A radio broadcast confirms that there was a robbery at that bank and a cashier was shot.
