As secretary of his fan club, Jan is invited to Greece to meet Griff where he is filming. Jan feels like she isn't really engaged to Stan, but Stan claims she had "as good as promised". When he sees he can't stop her from going, Stan decides to go to Greece also despite her objections. Everyone, including Griff himself, warns Jan that no one can be wonderful as the way she writes about him in the fan club magazine.
