Pat wonders why she has never seen the boyfriend that Isabel claims she has when Shirley says she has seen him. Shirley pulls a photograph of a sailor out of Isabel's handbag and Isabel goes along with Shirley's story, though she had never seen him. When the sailor shows up one day and kisses Isabel, she is stunned but continues to go along with it to avoid confessing that she had never seen him. But eventually Isabel finds out that he is Shirley's brother and Shirley had planned the entire thing as a joke.
