She develops a crush on a man she sees on the train and notices how smart he always dresses. She decides to take extra attention to her own appearance to impress him, but everything goes wrong. The do-it-yourself wave-perm applied by her friend is a disaster, she spills tea on her good coat, and she ruins her tights when she trips at the station. She takes a different train, hoping to avoid him. But he also took that train to avoid her, because his alarm didn't go off and he didn't have time to shave.
