From Atlas/Marvel's romance line comes this December 1955 issue of Love Romances, featuring cover art by Vince Colletta that captures pure wedding-day emotion — a beaming groom sweeps his bride, dressed in a blue-accented gown and veil, into his arms against a vivid red background. The heart-shaped caption teasing "Something Borrowed… Something Blue" perfectly sets the tone for what the cover promises: all brand-new stories of love and longing, including titles like "The Night We Met!" and "Dear John…!" Ten cents bought a lot of heartache and happiness in 1955.
