# Love Diary #22 This issue contains two main stories. The first, "My Hidden Past," follows a woman who conceals her past from her boyfriend Greg, having borne a child out of wedlock whom she gave up for adoption years before. When Greg discovers the truth, he initially rejects her, but after encountering her son playing with a baby and witnessing the boy's resemblance to himself, Greg realizes that fatherhood means finding happiness and reconciliation, ultimately forgiving her and proposing marriage. The second story, "Van," depicts a woman named Joyce who falls for a charming man named Van despite warnings from those around her; Van pursues her intensely, and though Joyce initially resists his elaborate romantic gestures and stories, she eventually accepts his proposal and agrees to marry him. The issue also includes "Frankly Speaking," an advice column by Ray Mann addressing readers' romantic dilemmas and relationship concerns.
