"Get Out of My Life" tells the story of a woman named Karen who becomes involved with a man named Floyd, but their relationship is complicated by Floyd's mental instability and jealousy. When Floyd suddenly appears at her window demanding she leave her fiancé Jim, Karen is torn between her feelings for Floyd and her commitment to Jim, ultimately choosing to marry Jim. After the wedding, Floyd shoots himself in despair, but Karen and Jim decide to move forward together, forgiving Floyd and focusing on their future happiness.
