Norma falls for Dick and thinks he feels the same way, but she overhears him telling a friend that he’s only pretending to be serious about her. Norma subsequently dates many men but refuses to become emotionally involved with anyone. Dick tries to win her back and gets violent when she turns him down. Norma is rescued by nice policeman Bill, and they eventually become man and wife.
