El Maestro después de contratar a Ojo de Halcón, Mercurio y a la Bruja Escarlata, al verse incapaz de controlarlos, le dice a la policía que ellos intentaron robar su circo. Así que, súbitamente, los tres se dan a la fuga. Mientras trabaja por su cuenta, el Capitán América puede atribuir todo este el plan a Encantadora y Poderoso. Encantadora abandona a su cómplice y vuelve a Asgard. Poderoso sin su amada, se entrega a la policía. El Ayuntamiento retira su orden, los Vengadores pueden volver a reunirse.
