In "Lanzamiento desde el Pasado," Ojo de Halcón returns to the Avengers Mansion to reunite with the Espadachín and Rama-Tut, only to face Kang’s Macrobots spreading across the globe. These mechanical foes imprison heroes within their frames, draining their powers—forcing the Avengers to dismantle them one by one while rescuing their captured allies. As the Visión frees his three companions, the team unites to confront the final Macrobot, but Kang’s desperate move to kill Mantis leads to a tragic sacrifice when the Espadachín steps in to save her, leaving Kang to flee. Ojo de Halcón regresa a la Mansión de Los Vengadores, allí se reúne con el Espadachín y Rama-Tut. Se enfrentan a los Macrobots de Kang por todo el mundo. Estos llevan prisioneros en su interior a los héroes capturados, de los cuales drenan sus poderes. Sin embargo consiguen derrotarlos uno a uno al tiempo que rescatan a sus compañeros, los cuales se suman a la siguiente batalla. La Visión libera a sus tres compañeras, y todos juntos derrotan al último Macrobot. Viendo perdida la batalla, Kang decide matar a Mantis, la Madona celestial. El Espadachín muere al interponerse, y Kang huye.
