“The Trouble with Mars!”

Marvin the Martian is on a mission of birthday-fueled revenge in this March 1998 issue of DC's Looney Tunes, and the cover by Leonardo Batic and Rubén Torreiro captures his simmering fury perfectly — Marvin stands arms crossed beside what appears to be a space-age cooking appliance labeled "Extra Crispy," muttering "They make me so angry!" while a crowded viewport behind him reveals the whole Looney Tunes gang (Bugs, Daffy, Porky, and more) blissfully unaware of their predicament. The cheeky subtitle says it all: Marvin destroys the Looney Tunes "because they didn't get him anything for his birthday." It's a wonderfully silly premise that makes this issue a genuine treat for fans of the classic WB characters.
