Looney Tunes #272

No corner of the universe is safe from competing duck egos in Looney Tunes #272 (2023)! The cover by Derek Fridolfs shows what appears to be Duck Dodgers — caped and triumphant — planting a flag on an alien world and proclaiming he claims the planet, while multiple versions of a very unimpressed Daffy Duck surround him, each flatly insisting the answer is simply "Earth." It's a perfectly timed comic snapshot of interplanetary ambition meeting Looney Tunes deflation, setting up "Duck Dodgers and the Return to the 24½th Century" with exactly the right mix of sci-fi parody and feathered squabbling.
