The tagline says it all — "Appetite plays a part" — as this 1996 DC issue puts little Tweety Bird front and center while a trio of very suspicious-looking cats looms behind him in the moonlight: a hefty dark cat, Sylvester in a sharp suit, and a red-furred feline, all radiating unmistakable scheming energy. The noir-styled cover composition, with its dramatic spotlight and palm-tree silhouette, gives the whole thing a delightfully cinematic feel. If you've ever rooted for the small, cheerful canary to outwit his many would-be pursuers, this one looks like a fun ride.
