“Going Underground”

Bugs Bunny is very much in charge on this cheerful June 2013 cover by Robert Pope and Scott McRae, gleefully wielding a mallet beside a "Whack-A-Crook" arcade machine with two hapless characters popping up through its holes, looking decidedly less pleased about the arrangement. It's the kind of playful visual gag that DC's long-running Looney Tunes series does so well, packaging that signature anarchic humor into a single, instantly readable image. Issue #212 looks like a fine pick for fans of all ages — the "Rated E for Everyone" badge says it all.
