This October 1958 Dell issue captures the eternal cat-and-mouse — or rather, hunter-and-rabbit — dynamic perfectly, with Elmer Fudd leaning menacingly over a wooden fence, shotgun in hand, while a cheeky rabbit slips right past him through a gap, heading straight for the carrot patch below. Ralph Heimdahl's cover pencils bring a lively, mischievous energy to the scene, and Phil De Lara's work inside promises more of the same Looney Tunes fun. At just a dime, this was an absolute steal for fans of Warner Bros.' beloved animated troublemakers.
