Locke & Key: Crown of Shadows #5
The fifth chapter of Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez's Crown of Shadows arc promises exactly what the cover delivers: a titanic clash under a full moon as an enormously enlarged figure winds up a fist to hammer a snarling, many-headed shadow creature, while two smaller figures scramble across rocks below, clearly desperate to get clear of the carnage. Rodriguez's art sells the scale brilliantly — those oversized fists dominate the composition and make the threat of that monster feel genuinely urgent. If you've been following this Locke & Key storyline, issue #5 looks like the moment the stakes get very, very physical.
