Sam Kieth's cover for this 2010 DC two-parter pulls you straight into the chaos, filling the frame with Lobo's snarling, upside-down face locked in a jaw-to-jaw standoff with a massive, fang-filled demonic maw — raw, visceral, and genuinely unsettling. The smeared, painterly linework captures both combatants at the absolute edge of violence, which feels exactly right for a story called Highway to Hell. With Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian scripting and Kieth handling full art duties, this first issue promises a collision of hard rock sensibility and boundary-pushing visuals.
