DC's 1996 Halloween special brings together two of comics' most volatile anti-heroes — the Main Man Lobo and the rhyming demon Etrigan — in one gloriously unhinged package. Vince Giarrano's cover depicts a snarling, wild-haired Lobo bursting through what appears to be a wall of flame and claws, chains in hand and looking thoroughly furious, while the Demon lurks just behind him in an infernal orange-red haze. With Alan Grant scripting and Giarrano handling both pencils and inks, this one-shot feels like exactly the kind of chaotic, hell-flavored team-up that only these two characters could survive.
