Lobo #1
The Main Man is back, and he's brought a mountain of carnage with him. Jorge Corona's cover for this 2026 DC series opener presents Lobo in full swagger — wild black hair, spike-laden armor adorned with star emblems, a massive weapon slung over one shoulder, chains draped across a heap of bodies and debris, and a skull buckle front and center, all beneath a cheeky "BOUNT ME!" sign that says everything you need to know about this character's attitude. With Skottie Young scripting and Corona and Jean-François Beaulieu bringing the chaos to vivid, riotous life, this first issue looks like a wild ride through the galaxy's most chaotic corner.

Lobo tracks a bounty to the Chug and Slug space-pub. He is astounded at the patrons there completely engrossed in a movie about a violent antihero. The bartender explains the mass-appeal of such a character, while Lobo shows his contempt for such a concept. On the verge of executing his bounty, Lobo learns that the contract is canceled and that he must report to the headquarters of the Omni Omega+ Entertainment Corp. ("The largest media conglomerate in all known existence") to be paid for the aborted mission. There he finds the chairman set to star him in a reality series about bounty hunting.
