Dustin Nguyen's cover for Little Monsters #9 is quietly unsettling in the best way — a young vampire in a white hoodie stares out with blood-stained lips and fangs bared, blood spatter dotting their jacket against a near-stark white background broken only by a vivid red streak. The restrained palette makes that crimson detail land with real weight, a signature of the haunting visual language Nguyen brings to this series. Jeff Lemire and Dustin Nguyen continue to craft one of Image's most atmospheric vampire stories, and this ninth issue shows no signs of letting up.
