Little Max Comics #21

In "Be Glad You're You," Little Max laments the petty details of his life and wishes he weren't himself, prompting an old man to take him on a trip to the zoo where he encounters various animals and learns that being himself is better than wishing to be something else. In "Horse Sense," Little Max is pulled along by a horse and girl in a cart while wearing rubber overshoes; when he loses the shoes crossing a puddle, he realizes the girl's warning about keeping them on was sound advice.
