The issue contains two Little Eva stories. In "Quick-Change Artist," Eva and her friend Cindy enter a poster contest for children under ten years old with a $25 first prize, competing to create the best poster about being kind to dumb animals. In "Little Ones Out of Big Ones," Eva's friend Nipper is working on a secret shrinking powder formula; when tested on a large ball placed in a box with the powder sprinkled on it, the powder successfully shrinks the ball to a much smaller size.
