Little Archie Comics Digest Magazine #17
In "The Rescue," Little Archie dons a makeshift cape and becomes "Little Archie, Super Sleuth" to crack the case of the disappearing hubcaps and radios from the teachers' cars. With the South Side Serpents in the crosshairs, he quickly spots the real culprit—Chester Punkett—working solo, but he needs help he can't get on his own. Meanwhile, Ronnie, the school paper’s ever-keen reporter, is hot on the trail of the mystery, adding a dash of urgency to the already tangled investigation. Written and illustrated by Bob Bolling, with coloring by Barry Grossman and lettering by Bolling himself, this 1985 digest features a cover by Dexter Taylor.
