Little Archie #74
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeA hulking purple sea creature rises from the waves on this 1972 Giant Comics entry, bearing down on little Archie, Jughead, and an injured Veronica on the beach — and the cover caption promises the full adventure in "Monster of the Deep." Dexter Taylor's cover art captures the kids mid-scramble, with Archie refusing to flee without Veronica, setting up a genuinely tense tableau. Bonus content featuring Little Sabrina rounds out this oversized issue, making it a fun package of Riverdale charm and beach-side thrills.

Little Reggie plays several mean jokes on Little Sabrina who turns him into a monkey. The gang, hanging out in the Chok'lit Shop, sees the monkey and rush outside chasing it down the street ending up at an Organ Grinder who has his own monkey. Both monkeys dance and attract a crowd including the Lodge's who are driving by. Meanwhile Little Sabrina feels guilty for turning Little Reggie into a monkey and finds the gang dancing to the Organ Grinder's music. She turns him back. Everyone heads to the Chok'lit Shop except Little Reggie who can't seem to shake hanging in a tree and eating bananas.
