“A Sense of Honor”

In "A Sense of Honor," Archie faces a moment of friendship and loyalty when Jughead breaks the news that Mr. Lodge has cut off Reggie, leaving the teen stranded and his plans with Veronica in ruins. As Archie rushes to support his pal, Betty is left alone—though not without a sweet soda to keep her company. Written and illustrated by Dexter Taylor, with inks by Jon D'Agostino and colors by Barry Grossman, this 1972 tale captures the quiet drama of growing up in Riverdale, all framed by Taylor’s expressive art and D'Agostino’s sharp cover inks.
