This issue of Lion is an anthology featuring multiple stories. "Captain Condor: Space-Man of the Unknown Moon" by Frank S. Pepper follows space pilot Captain Condor and his companion Pete, who land on the moon Zor in the year 3000 seeking fuel for their ship; when a rebel ignites an underground fire, the quick-thinking Zorians use a magnetic life-line to rescue Condor and Pete from a tidal wave, ultimately rewarding the earthmen at the Kingzor's palace. "Jingo Jones and His Invisibiliser" by Tom Stirling depicts Jingo Jones using an invisibility device to help his friend Bob transport a mysterious trunk through a railway station, employing various invisible tricks to evade porters and obstacles. The issue also includes "The Fake Executioner Who Fooled the Tower Guards," in which two prisoners, Dirk and Hal, escape their cell and navigate through the tower corridors in search of freedom, only to face pursuit by guards when their absence is discovered. Additionally, the issue contains a "World-Wide Quiz" feature with questions about geography, culture, and maritime knowledge.
