Lion #65 is an anthology issue featuring multiple stories. The lead story, "Captain Condor: Spaceman of the Unknown Moon," depicts the space pilot Captain Condor and his crew landing on an uncharted moon and battling the underground-dwelling Zorians, who cause flooding in a city by setting fires. A second story, "The Case of the Masked Boxer," follows characters Dirk and Hal as they navigate a mystery involving a key, a traitor, and encounters with the Iron Mask in a tower prison setting. "Jingo Jones and His Invisibiliser," by Tom Stirling, features a boy named Jingo and his friend Bob who use an invisibility device to smuggle an invisible horse named "Nothing" into their school to teach horse sense. The issue also includes a "World-Wide Quiz" section with general knowledge questions for readers to answer.
