This issue of Lion features "Captain Condor: Space-Man of the Unknown Moon" by Frank S. Pepper, in which Captain Condor and his engineer Pete explore a mysterious moon in the year 3000 and discover an advanced alien civilization with powerful weapons that could threaten Earth. The issue also includes "Jingo Jones and His Invisibiliser" by Tom Stirling, where Jingo uses an invisibility device to help catch an escaped performing chimpanzee that has wandered into a schoolyard.
