Lion #52

Lion #52 is an anthology featuring three main stories: "Captain Condor: Space-Man of the Unknown Moon," in which the space pilot Captain Condor and his crew battle hostile armored creatures on an alien moon while searching for fuel; a historical adventure story set in ancient Rome depicting a chariot race, with characters named Cardoc, Edric, and the noble Mercilus competing in the arena; and "Jingo Jones and His Invisibiliser," a school-based adventure by Tom Stirling in which a boy uses an invisibility device to outwit bullies and uncover schemes at his school. The issue also includes a "World-Wide Quiz" with fourteen visual puzzles covering geography, animals, sports, and general knowledge.
