Dan DeCarlo's cover drops us into a music shop where Archie reacts with wide-eyed shock to a price list while a salesman enthusiastically pitches new amplifiers, promising The Archies "a much heavier sound" — though a nearby friend wryly notes it'll also mean "a much lighter pocketbook." Meanwhile, a grinning bandmate strums a blue electric guitar in the foreground, and a tiny vignette at the top shows someone getting chased by a roaring lawnmower, hinting at the comedic misadventures waiting inside, written and drawn in full by Joe Edwards.
