In "Wishful Thinking," Archie and Jughead find themselves in a whirlwind of confusion when their school pageant costumes—a pair of astronaut outfits—accidentally draw the attention of two real aliens who arrive in identical gear. As the aliens cause a series of odd incidents around Riverdale High, the boys are wrongly blamed for every mishap, leading to a chaotic mix-up that tests their friendship and quick thinking. Written by Hal Smith and illustrated by Doug Crane, with inks by Mike Esposito and letters by Bill Yoshida, this 1989 issue features a cover by Dan DeCarlo and Jim DeCarlo.
