“Proud To Be An American”

"Proud To Be An American" kicks off a bold, timely story in Liberality for All #1, written by Mike Mackey and illustrated by Donny Lin in a striking, unified artistic vision. Set in a near-future where political ideals have fractured, the issue follows Reagan McGee’s reflections on America’s fading ideals as global tensions erupt—centered on a chilling plot involving a nuclear threat, a controversial figure at the U.N., and a mysterious alliance with a former political operative. The cover by Larry Elmore captures the story’s high-stakes atmosphere, setting the tone for a narrative that probes identity, power, and the cost of patriotism.
