# Li'l Tomboy #96 In "A Dime a Tooth," Li'l Tomboy loses a tooth and her father tells her a good fairy will exchange it for a dime under her pillow. That night, she plans to place the dime under the pillow herself to trick the fairy. In a separate baseball story, a Dalmatian demon pitcher strikes out Tom Cat nine times, but Tom Cat uses a magnet-screened bat to guarantee a hit and executes his famous corkscrew wind-up for a successful play. The issue concludes with a story where Li'l Tomboy is caught sneaking out at night and tells neighbors she was playing, leading to a misunderstanding where a burglar gets hit by the tomboy and is mistaken for a "Tom Boy" before she clarifies the confusion to a crowd of adults.
