A cheerful slice of early-'70s Marvel humor, this issue's cover by Stan Goldberg drops a gang of mischievous kids at a carnival "Knock Down Pins" booth, where one resourceful youngster is hauling in an enormous beach ball while his pals arrive armed with every oversized ball they can carry — much to the wide-eyed alarm of the booth attendant. Promising "Kiddie Kapers and Kartoon Kut-ups!" inside, with interior work by Howie Post, it's a warm, funny package that captures the freewheeling spirit of all-ages comics at their most purely enjoyable.
