A cheerful raid on the refrigerator takes center stage on this 1972 Marvel gem, as a lively gang of kids — plus one very enthusiastic dog — make off with popsicles, cupcakes, and whatever else they can grab, while a speech balloon hints that poor Mortimer still hasn't made up his mind. Stan Goldberg's pencils (inked by Goldberg and John Verpoorten) give the whole scene a warm, bouncy energy perfectly suited to the "Kiddie Kapers and Kartoon Kut-Ups!" promise splashed across the bottom. At just 20 cents, this was lighthearted fun the whole neighborhood could enjoy.
