Li'l Genius and his cousin Herman start out at odds over what to build with spare parts, but the boy genius helps them find common ground—only to send their unexpected creation barreling down a hill during a local yacht race. What happens when their makeshift contraption hits the water will teach both boys something about working together, even if their vehicle defies all logic.

Li'l Genius and his pop visit a farm to pick up eggs and meet the animals, but Pop's enthusiasm for getting acquainted with every creature on Mr. Brown's property leads to a series of increasingly chaotic encounters with bulls, goats, geese, hogs, and chickens. By the time they're ready to leave, Pop has learned just how unpredictable farm animals can be—and discovers the farmer has a special parting gift waiting for him.

When they enroll him in dancing school as a way to straighten him out, Ollie fears what Butch will think if he finds out—but fate has other plans.
