Li'l Genius #33

This anthology issue contains two main stories: the cover feature shows Li'l Genius using a homemade bomb detector at a circus, where he must overcome his fears of high places, lions, and horses to perform his job. A secondary story, "Hummer The Hummingbird," presents an educational tale in which a hummingbird introduces itself to forest animals and discusses various hummingbird species, their habitats, and dietary habits. The final story depicts a circus scenario where a clown named Mr. Vargas attempts to train an elephant for the act while another character daydreams of becoming a gondolier in Venice.
