This cheerful Bamboo Édition album brings the gang of pint-sized Greek gods back for another round of divine mischief, subtitled Hermès Conditionné. The cover, by Cazenove and Larbier, is bursting with color and comic energy — a winged Hermès goes skidding across a grassy hilltop while a hulking, dark-furred figure relaxes under a beach umbrella surrounded by ancient amphorae, pottery, and a scattering of startled animals including rabbits, a hedgehog, and a snail. If this 2021 volume keeps the series' trademark blend of mythology and slapstick in fine form, fans of Les Petits Mythos are in for a delightful treat.
