Volume 10 of Jun Mochizuki's Les Mémoires de Vanitas arrives with a cover steeped in quiet melancholy — two figures, one silver-haired and one blue-haired, sit back to back amid drifting luminous bubbles framed by ornate golden woodwork, their postures carrying a bittersweet tension that the series does so well.
