Not long after the Emerald Eye finds a new host on Orando, the new Emerald Empress brings the cruiser carrying Lightning Lass and Shrinking Violet down on the primitive planet. The Eye, remembering how Sensor Girl allowed her last host, Sarya, to die, uses its hostages to draw more Legionnaires to it. But Violet enters the Eye at microscopic size and then expands to shatter the Eye and release its new host.
