Aquaman's legendary trident takes center stage on Ryan Sook's striking cover, brandished aloft by a Legion member while churning floodwaters scatter fellow Legionnaires in every direction — the cover copy's burning question, "Can it save a world or destroy it?", sets a genuinely compelling tone. The scene captures a chaotic, water-soaked struggle against a lightning-streaked orange sky, with multiple colorfully costumed heroes tumbling through the waves amid what looks like a civilization-threatening catastrophe. Brian Michael Bendis and Sook's 2020 relaunch of the Legion is clearly swinging for big-stakes adventure right out of the gate with this second issue.
