The penultimate chapter of this 2012 Marvel limited series arrives with a cover that puts the pressure squarely on one beleaguered human figure, swarmed by a full press of classic monsters — a mummy with glowing red eyes, a wild-haired vampire in a tattered cape, and hulking creature figures that crowd the composition from every angle. Juan Doe's linework crackles with tension, and Wil Quintana's deep reds and sickly greens give the whole scene an appropriately unsettling atmosphere.
